This page explains what data the Diyaa lighting and electrical website collects and how we use and protect it.
Orders and delivery
When you order we keep your name, phone number and email address, the delivery address and emirate, the products, the payment method and anything you write in the “Delivery notes” box. We use them to confirm, prepare and deliver the order, and for the warranty and returns if you need them. Nothing is paid on the website; you pay on delivery, in cash or by card.
Company orders
Lists of units, addresses and recipients and the company name you send us are used only to carry out the order, shared with no one, and the lists are deleted 90 days after delivery.
Accounts and the contact form
- Customer accounts: name, email address, password (stored encrypted), addresses and order history.
- The contact form: your name, email address, subject and message, kept in the website’s dashboard.
Cookies and what your browser keeps
We use only the cookies we need: for signing in, for keeping your cart during your visit and for protecting forms from automated messages. Your browser also keeps a copy of the cart to speed pages up, and your choices on the site. We use no tracking or advertising tools, and you can clear all of this by deleting this site’s data in your browser.
Retention and your rights
Orders are kept for five years for accounting, as the law requires, and contact messages for twelve months. You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or the deletion of your account at any time from the contact page, and we reply within thirty days.
